Most slaves didn't have a lot of money.They had to live in small cabins.All they had was wooden beds,wooden bowls,and baskets for fruit or clothes.
You would think that the little children would have to go out and do all the farm work,but what they really did was play all day.They would go out and get hey from the farms and make dolls.They used guards for the heads and take paint and drawl eyes,and a mouth on the head.It was a good time for kids but not adults.

The slaves felt very bad working out in the field everyday and cooking for their masters and barely getting any of the food they made.How would you feel if you made food and barely be able to eat it?

most of slaves where not aloud to read or write.If they where caught they would either be killed,thrown in jail,or whipped.most slaves ran away from the white folks/masters.The only reason the white people keeped slaves was so they could do all their work.That is not right
